1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transportation and storage of the marine disc separator (hereinafter referred to as "separator").
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of such separators used for removing the moisture and mechanical admixtures in mineral oils on board.
The design, manufacture and acceptance of such separators used for removing the moisture and mechanical admixtures in mineral oils onshore may also refer to this standard.
