1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, quality certificate and marking of carbon and low-alloy steel rotor and shaft forgings for steam turbine (25MW or lower).
This standard is applicable to the ordering, manufacturing and acceptance of rotor and shaft forgings for steam turbine (25MW and lower).

3.1 The adopted standard, material designation, strength grade, requirements jointly determined by the purchaser and the supplier in provisions of this standard, technical requirements and inspection items beyond requirements of this standard shall be indicated in the order contract or order agreement by the purchaser.
