JGJ/T 67-2019 Standard for design of office building
1 General provisions
1.0.1 This standard is developed to implement national technical and economic policies in office building design, standardize design practices, and ensure office buildings are safe, hygienic, functional, and efficient.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design of newly constructed, expanded, and renovated office buildings.
1.0.3 Office buildings shall be classified based on their usage requirements and shall meet the requirements of Table 1.0.3:

1.0.4 When designing office buildings, the principles of land conservation, energy efficiency, water conservation, material conservation and environmental protection shall be followed.
1.0.5 Office buildings shall incorporate accessibility design and meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50763 Codes for accessibility design.
1.0.6 In addition to complying with this standard, the design of office buildings shall also meet the requirements of other current relevant standards of the nation.

3 Site and general layout
3.1 Site
3.1.1 The sites selected for constructing office buildings shall meet the requirements of the local overall plan for land utilization and the urban-rural planning.
3.1.2 Preferably, the sites selected for constructing office buildings shall be located in areas with favorable engineering geology and hydrogeology conditions, well-developed municipal facilities, and convenient access to transportation and communication.
3.1.3 The distance between office building sites and locations containing flammable or explosive materials, as well as sources of noise, dust and smoke, or harmful gas emissions, shall meet the requirements of relevant current standards of the nation on safety, health, and environmental protection.
3.1.4 Class A office buildings shall have at least two sides directly adjacent to urban roads or highways; Class B office buildings shall have at least one side directly adjacent to urban roads or highways, or a pathway connected to urban roads or highways; Class C office buildings should ideally have at least one side directly adjacent to urban roads or highways.
3.1.5 Large office building complexes shall include open spaces within the site for gathering and dispersal of people, serving as emergency evacuation areas.
