This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces JT/T 327-2004 Highway bridge expansion and contraction installation. The following main technical changes have been made with respect to JT/T 327-2004: ——The range of expansion and contraction quantity is adjusted (see Clause 1); ——The term and definition of expansion and contraction body have been deleted (see 3.4 of 2004 edition), and the term and definition of elastic bearing element have been added (see 3.4); ——The classification of expansion and contraction installations is revised and the rubber expansion and contraction installation is deleted (see 4.1.3 of 2004 edition); special-shaped steel single-seam expansion and contraction installations is changed into single-seam modular expansion and contraction installations (see 4.2 of this standard; 4.1.4 of 2004 edition); seamless expansion and contraction installation is added [see 4.1c)]; the types of modular expansion and contraction installations and pectinate plate expansion and contraction installations are refined (see 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4). ——The expression methods of product code are improved, and the structure schematic of the expansion and contraction installation is supplemented (see 4.5); ——The general requirements of expansion and contraction installations are supplemented and improved; the deformation performance requirements are improved (see 5.1.1); the water resistance requirements (see 5.1.2), bearing performance requirements (see 5.2.1) and durability requirements (see 5.2.2) are supplemented; ——The test methods of expansion and contraction installations are supplemented and improved, with the deformation performance test (see 7.1.5), water resistance test (see 7.1.6) and bearing performance test (see 7.1.7) supplemented, and welding quality inspection (see 7.2.4) and coating quality inspection (see 7.2.5) improved. This standard was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee 223 on Traffic Engineering Facilities (Highway) of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 223). The previous editions of this standard are as follows: JT/T 327-1997 and JT/T 327-2004. General technical requirements of expansion and contraction installation for highway bridge 1 Scope This standard specifies the classification, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of expansion and contraction installations for highway bridge. This standard is applicable to the expansion and contraction installations used in highway bridge engineering with expansion and contraction quantity of 20 mm~3,000 mm. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
