This standard is applicable to the manual transmission (MT) assembly (hereinafter referred to as "transmission") of motor vehicles of Categories M and N. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. If necessary, the exposed surface of the assembly shall be subjected to rust-proof treatment, and the rust-proof grade shall meet the requirements of GB/T 6461. 4.3 Cleanliness The undisassembly cleanliness of transmission assembly shall be calculated using Formula (1): G≤K×Le (1) where, G——the actually measured impurity mass of transmission assembly, mg; K——the objective evaluation coefficient of cleanliness, i.e., impurity content per liter of lubricating oil, mg/L, with the allowable value of K given in Table 1; Le——the rated volume of lubricating oil of transmission assembly, L. During the test, there shall be no abnormal noise, oil leakage and other faults, and the main parts and components shall not be damaged, such as fracture, pitting, spalling and jamming (for tooth surface pitting, passenger car: the cumulative pitting area of a single tooth surface exceeds 4mm2, or the pitting depth exceeds 0.5mm; commercial vehicle: the single pitting area exceeds 4mm2, or the cumulative pitting area of a single tooth surface exceeds 20% of this single tooth surface). 4.5 Gearshift life For the transmission with synchronizer, the test shall be completed according to the method specified in 5.6, and there shall be no continuous gear failure or five consecutive times of gearshift collision sound or gear collision in any gear. 4.6 Static torsional strength The test shall be completed according to the method specified in 5.7. The static torsional strength safety factor shall meet the following requirements: for passenger cars, the K value of forward gear and that of reverse gear shall be greater than or equal to 2.5 and 2.0 respectively; for commercial vehicles, the K value shall be greater than or equal to 3.0. 4.7 Transmission efficiency The test shall be completed according to the method specified in 5.8, and the test results shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 2. 4.8 Noise The test shall be completed according to the method specified in 5.9, and the test results shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3. The synchronous impulse of forward gear shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 4, and the peak value of double shock force shall be lower than 70% of synchronous force. The static gearshift force, static off-gear force and static gear selecting force shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 5. During the test, the oil temperature of the transmission shall not be higher than the designed maximum allowable oil temperature of the transmission, and the temperature-time curve shall be smooth without abrupt change.
