1 General provisions 1.0.1 This code is developed with a view to unifying the quality acceptance for construction of ventilation and air conditioning and guaranteeing the work safety and quality. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to construction quality acceptance of the ventilation and air conditioning for industrial and civil buildings. 1.0.3 This code shall be used in conjunction with the current national standard GB 50300 Unified Standard for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Building Engineering. 1.0.4 The requirements for constructional quality of work which are specified for ventilation and air conditioning works in engineering technical document and work contract shall not be lower than those specified in this code. 1.0.5 The construction quality acceptance for ventilation and air conditioning works shall comply with not only this code but also the current relevant standards of the nation. 2 Terms 2.0.1 ventilation works generic term for air supply, air exhaust, smoke control/exhaust, dedusting and pneumatic conveying system works 2.0.2 air conditioning works generic term for comfort air conditioning, constant temperature and humidity air conditioning, cleanroom air purification and air conditioning system works 2.0.3 duct duct, made from metallic, nonmetallic sheet or other material, for ventilation. 2.0.4 nonmetallic duct duct made from such nonmetallic materials as rigid PVC and glass reinforced plastic (GRP) 2.0.5 foil-insulant composite duct duct with incombustible surface course, made from thermal insulation material of flame resisting grade or above 2.0.6 refractory duct duct made from composite incombustible and fire-resistant thermal insulation materials and reaching a specific fire endurance limit 2.0.7 duct fittings components of duct system, e.g. elbow, tee, cross, special pipe, guide vane and flange 2.0.8 duct accessory functional parts of duct system, e.g. vent, valve, hood, cowl, silencer, air filter, inspection door and determination hole 2.0.9 air channel channel, made from such building materials as concrete and brick, for ventilation. 2.0.10 ventilating ducts for kitchen and bathroom channels for discharging the fume generated by cooking appliance from kitchen and foul gas from bathroom in residential building 2.0.11 design working pressure maximum design working pressure at the main duct of system 2.0.12 air leakage rate air volume discharged from or infiltrated into the duct system under a certain static pressure over a unit time, through the main structure or joint of duct. 2.0.13 duct system permissible leakage rate maximum permissible air leakage as per the average unit surface area and unit the specified according to the classification of duct system 2.0.14 duct system leakage ratio percentage ratio of the air leakage at working pressure, e.g. duct system, air conditioning equipment, deduster, to the rated air flow 2.0.15 jiggle protection support supports and hangers or pipe racks protecting duct or conduit from jiggling displacement 2.0.16 strength test determination and inspection on pressure resistance, e.g. pipeline, vessel, valve, carried out at specified pressure and within specified pressure holding time 2.0.17 leakage test determination and inspection on leakage resistance, e.g. pipeline, vessel, valve, carried out at specified pressure and within holding time 2.0.18 absorption refrigeration device refrigeration device which is thermally driven and use ammonia-water or water-lithium bromide as refrigerating medium 2.0.19 air cleanliness class cleanliness level determined by the counts of particles of some size in unit volume of air 2.0.20 fan filter unit cellular air supply unit for space cleaning which is composed of fan case and high efficiency filter, etc. 2.0.21 as-built (of cleanroom) with installations set up and all powers switched on and operating but no production equipment, material and operator 2.0.22 at-rest (of cleanroom) with installations set up, production equipment installed, operated as agreed by the owner and supplier, but with no personnel responsible for production 2.0.23 operation (of cleanroom) with facilities operating in specified mode, at the presence of specified number of personnel, and production equipment operating in the status as agreed between the owner and the supplier 2.0.24 declared quality level upper limit of total unqualified product(s) in inspection lot 3 Basic requirements 3.0.1 The acceptance for construction quality of ventilation and air conditioning works shall comply with not only the provisions of this code but also approved design documents and contracted items. 3.0.2 As far as works modification is concerned, a design alteration notice or technical approval from the Designer must be provided. Where the construction enterprise undertakes in-depth design for the construction drawings of ventilation and air conditioning, the drawings shall be confirmed by engineering design organization. 3.0.3 The main raw materials, as well as the material, specification and performance of finished product, semi-finished product and equipment, shall comply with the design documents and current national standards and materials or equipment that are expressly prohibited or obsoleted by the State shall not be adopted. The site acceptance of main raw material, finished product, semi-finished product and equipment shall meet the following requirements: 1 The approaching quality acceptance shall be confirmed by supervision engineer or the relevant person in-charge of the Developer. 2 Imported materials and equipment shall be provided with valid documents such as commodity inspection conformity certificate and Chinese quality certificate. 3.0.4 The new technology, new process, new material and new equipment adopted by ventilation and air conditioning works shall be provided with certificate of special technical appraisal acceptance. 3.0.5 The construction of ventilation and air conditioning works shall be carried out following established procedure and cooperate with civil engineering and other disciplines. The finished civil engineering construction relevant to ventilation and air conditioning system shall be jointly checked by the Developer (or General Contractor), Supervisor, Designer and Constructor. Organization of such joint check should be in the charge of the Developer, Supervisor or General Contractor. 3.0.6 Concealed ventilation and air conditioning works, before being concealed, shall be accepted and confirmed by the Supervisor or Developer and image information shall be kept up where necessary. 3.0.7 The acceptance for construction quality of ventilation and air conditioning division project shall be carry out by the subdivision projects listed in Table 3.0.7 and the section projects they contained, according to actual engineering conditions. Division project acceptance shall be passed provided all the subdivision projects contained are totally passed. Where a ventilation and air conditioning work is accepted as unit project or subunit project, its division projects shall be upgraded to unit project or subunit project, its subdivision projects shall be upgraded to division project, and its section projects shall be classified according to those specified in Table 3.0.7. Quality acceptance records shall meet those specified in Annex A hereof.
