General technical requirements for glazing materials used in power-driven vehicles 1 Scope This document specifies terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of glazing materials used in power-driven vehicles. This document is applicable to glazing materials used in power-driven vehicles, including M-class, N-class, O-class, L-class vehicles with driver's cab, agricultural and forestry vehicles. This document is not applicable to glazing materials used for the lighting and signaling devices and instrument panels of power-driven vehicle. Note: The classification of L-class, M-class, N-class, and O-class vehicles is specified in GB/T 15089. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. The curved glazing materials used in power-driven vehicles are classified into single curved glazing materials and composite curved glazing materials.
