3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition applies.
3.1
knitted woolen fabric
knitted fabric similar to tatted woolen fabric, with 50% or more wool or cashmere as raw material and produced by knitted weaving, fulling and sorting
4 Product Size
Comply with GB/T 1335 (all parts).
5 Requirements
5.1 Contents of requirements
The requirements are divided into inherent quality requirements, appearance quality requirements and raw materials requirements. Inherent quality includes such indexes as fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, dimensional change rate in water washing, dimensional change rate in dry cleaning, spirality after water washing, bursting strength, seam strength, stitch slipping, pilling, flocking fastness, color fastness to dry cleaning, color fastness to soaping, color fastness to water, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to light, splicing and cross dyeing color fastness and appearance quality after water washing (dry cleaning). Appearance quality includes such indexes as surface defect spot, specification and dimension deviation, dimensional difference at symmetric parts, strip and plaid matching, sewing requirements and pressing requirements. Raw material requirements include such indexes relating to fabrics, lining and accessory materials.
5.2 Grading requirements
5.2.1 Products are classified into high-grade products, first-grade products and acceptable products based on quality grade.
5.2.2 The inherent quality is graded by batch; the appearance quality is graded by piece, and the combination of which is graded based on the minimum grade.
5.2.3 As for various indexes of inherent quality, the worst inspection result is used as the grading basis to this batch of products.
5.2.4 Where appearance quality problems with different product grades are found on the same product, the product shall be graded according to the lowest quality grade. For the same product, only two limit surface defect spots of the same grade are allowed to exist; if not, one grade will be reduced.
5.3 Inherent quality requirements
5.3.1 See Table 1 for inherent quality requirements.
