Mine blast-hole drills - Safety requirements
1 Scope
This standard specifies restrictions on mine blast-hole drills in terms of physical properties and intended use. The safety requirements specified in this standard are applicable to the dangers generated at various stages throughout the service life of the machine.
This standard is applicable to rock drilling rigs, cable drill, downhole drills, rotary drills and geared drills (hereinafter referred to as "drills") that are used to drill blast-holes in surface and underground mines and tunnels.
