1 Scope
This standard specifies hot-rolled steel rails for railway in terms of the terms and definitions, ordering information, dimension, profile, quality and permissible deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, quality certificate and quality assurance.
This standard is applicable to hot-rolled steel rails of 160km/h or below by continuous casting, but not applicable to overall-length heat-treated steel rails.
