1 Scope This standard specifies terms, definitions, main symbols, classification, raw and auxiliary materials, pipe manufacture technical requirements, pipe fittings, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transport and storage as well as application requirements and certificate of merchandise of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe. This standard is applicable to the manufacture of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe with nominal inner diameter of 400 mm~4,000 mm and pipeline operation working pressure or static head pressure not exceeding 2.0 MPa; and it may serve as a reference for the manufacture of pipe exceeding the range given in this standard. Pipes manufactured according to this standard may be used for municipal water supply and discharge main pipe, industrial water pipeline, farm irrigation, factory pipe network, power plant make-up water pipe and cooling water circulation system, inverted siphon, pressure tunnel pipeline, pipe ditch, pipe gallery and culvert pipe with large height of fill above its top. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
