1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to ensure regular service for industrial building and structures under action of corrosive medium within its design life.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to anticorrosive design for industrial building and structures under action of corrosive medium.
1.0.3 Anticorrosive design for industrial architecture shall follow principle of "prevention first and combining with protection", and it shall adjust measures according to local conditions, make a difference between them and combined select anticorrosive measures according to corrosiveness, environmental conditions, control level for production operation and construction maintenance condition generated in the production process. Parts endangering personal safety and difficult to be repaired and important load-carrying structures and members shall be made with intensive protection.
1.0.4 Anticorrosive design for industrial architecture shall not only comply with requirement in this code, but also meets the requirement of current relevant standards of the nation.
