1 Scope
Method I in this standard specifies the determination method of HCH, DDD, hexachlorobenzene, mirex, heptachlor, chlordane, aldrin, dieldrin, endrin, endosulfan and PCNB in foods. Method II specifies the determination method of HCH and DDT residues in foods.
Method I in this standard is applicable to the analysis of α-HCH, hexachlorobenzene, β-HCH, γ-HCH, PCNB, δ-HCH, PCA, heptachlor, PCPs, aldrin, oxy-chlordane, heptachlor epoxide, trans-chlordane, α-endosulfan, cis-chlordane, pp, pp'-DDE, dieldrin, endrin, β-endosulfan, p, p'-DDD, o, p'-DDT, endrin aldehyde, endosulfan sulfate, p, p'-DDT, endrin ketone and mirex in meat, eggs, dairy animal original foods and vegetables (containing grease). Method II is applicable to the determination of HCH and DDT residues in foods.
The detection limit of Method I varies from different sample matrixes, refer to Appendix A. Detection limit of Method II: where the sampling quantity is 2g, the final volume is 5mL and the sample injection volume is 10μL, it's 0.038μg/kg, 0.16 μg/kg, 0.047μg/kg and 0.070μg/kg respectively for α-HCH, β-HCH, γ-HCH and δ-HCH; and it's 0.23μg/kg, 0.50μg/kg, 1.8μg/kg and 2.1μg/kg respectively for p, p'-DDE, o, p'-DDT, p, p'-DDD and p, p'-DDT.
Method I Capillary Column Gas Chromatography - Electron Capture Detector Method
2 Principle
The organochlorine pesticide constituents in the sample are extracted by organic solvent, purified by gel chromatography, separated by capillary column gas chromatography, detected by means of electron capture detector, qualified by retention time and quantified by external standard method.
