This standard replaces GB 13078-2001 Hygienical Standard for Feeds as well as its Amendment 1, GB 13078.1-2006 Hygienical Standard for Feed - Limited Content of Nitrite in Feeds, GB 13078.2-2006 Hygienical Standard for Feeds - Toleration of Ochratoxin A and Zearalenone in Feeds, GB 13078.3-2007 Tolerance Limits for Deoxynivalenol in Formula Feed and GB 21693-2008 Tolerance Limits for T-2 Toxin in Formula Feed. In addition to a number of editorial changes, the following technical changes have been made with respect to the previous edition.
——The application scope of this standard is adjusted as "This standard is applicable to feed materials and feed products listed in Table 1, but not applicable to pet feed products or feed additive products" and contents relevant to feed additive products are deleted.
——Limit requirements for 3 items, i.e. fumonsins, polychlorinated biphenyl and hexachlorobenzene are added.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the limit and test methods for toxic and harmful substance as well as microorganism in feed materials and feed products.
This standard is applicable to the feed materials and feed products listed in Table 1.
This standard is not applicable to pet feed products and feed additive products.

Hygienical Standard for Feeds
1 Scope
This standard specifies the limit and test methods for toxic and harmful substance as well as microorganism in feed materials and feed products.
This standard is applicable to the feed materials and feed products listed in Table 1.
This standard is not applicable to pet feed products and feed additive products.
