This standard specifies a method for the determination of the moisture of feeds, feedstuffs and feed additives.
This standard is applicable to the determination of moisture content in feeds, feedstuffs and feed additives.
This standard is not applicable to:
a) Milk products;
b) Mineral substances;
c) Mixtures containing a considerable amount of milk products or mineral substances, for example milk replacers;
d) Feeds containing humectants (e.g. propylene glycol) ;
e) The following simple feedstuffs:
1) Animal and vegetable fats and oils (for which Method A specified in GB/T 9696 is applicable);
2) Oilseeds (for which a method is specified in GB/T 14489.1);
3) Oilseed residues (for which a method is specified in GB/T 10358);
4) Cereals, except maize, and cereal products (for which a method is specified in GB/T 21305);
5) Maize (for which a method is specified in GB/T 10362).
