3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 3853-2017, GB/T 4975, JB/T 7662 and JB/T 9107 and the following apply.
3.1
electric air compressor
air compressor with power supplied by a motor
3.2
rated speed
speed of the air compressor corresponding to rated speed of the drive motor
Note: Rated speed is expressed in r/min.
3.3
rated discharge pressure
rated working pressure of the electric air compressor matched with the vehicle it is mounted on
Note: Rated discharge pressure is expressed in MPa.
3.4
rated condition
condition where the electric air compressor runs at rated speed when the first-stage suction pressure (absolute) is 0.1 MPa, the suction temperature is 293 K, and the discharge pressure is rated one
4 Performance requirements
4.1 Volumetric flow
The test shall be carried out according to 5.6 of GB/T 3853-2017. The volumetric flow of an electric air compressor under rated condition shall meet the requirements of product technical documents.
