Condenser for automotive air conditioning
1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of condenser for automotive air conditioning (hereinafter referred to as condenser).
This document is applicable to external air-cooled condensers with HFC-134a and HFO-1234yf as refrigerants, heat pump-type interior air-cooled condensers and air-cooled condensers with liquid storage tanks.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 21361 and the following apply.
3.1
Condenser
heat exchanger that cools and condenses gaseous refrigerant into a liquid
3.2
stable state
the state where fluctuation range of relevant test parameters is less than the specified value during the test
3.3
heat exchange
the heat emitted into the air by the condenser per unit time under the specified test conditions
3.4
air pressure drop
the pressure difference [1) Unless otherwise specified, the pressure in this document is gauge pressure.]1)between the inlet and outlet sides of the condenser when operating under specified test conditions
3.5
refrigerant pressure drop
the pressure difference between the refrigerant inlet and outlet of the condenser when operating under specified test conditions
3.6
subcooling condenser
heat exchanger that cools the high temperature and high pressure gaseous refrigerant entering the condenser into a high temperature and high pressure liquid refrigerant, and the liquid refrigerant at the outlet of the condenser has a certain degree of subcooling
