Directly adjacent two-layer or multi-layer non-substantial components (no substantial component between them) may be regard as a non-substantial component where the combination meet the requirements of non-substantial components. 3.8 Internal non-substantial component Non-substantial component with the two sides contacting a kind of substantial components at least 3.9 External non-substantial component Non-substantial component with one not contacting substantial component(s) 3.10 Flooring Materials or products that may be laid on the floor 3.11 Substrate A category of products in direct contact with the backside (or bottom) of building products, such as concrete wall concrete wall surface 3.12 Standard substrate Product that may represent substrate for practical applications 3.13 Flaming droplets/particles Substance or particles separated from sample during the process of combustion test 3.14 Critical heat flux CHF Heat radiation flux at the flame quenching position or that from flame propagated to the farthest at 30min of the test.
