SH 3501-2011 Construction and acceptance Specification for toxic and combustible medium steel piping engineering in petrochemical industry (English Version)
1 Scope
This code specifies the construction, examination and inspection requirements of toxic and combustible medium steel piping engineering in petrochemical industry.
This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of toxic and combustible medium steel piping engineering in petrochemical industry, with nominal pressure less than or equal to PN 420 (CL 2500) and design temperature between -196℃~850℃; it is not applicable to the construction and acceptance of long-distance piping and gas piping engineering in town.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this code.
3.1
Pressure piping
Piping in petrochemical industry engineering, for transmitting gas, liquefied gas, steam medium with design pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (gauge pressure), or combustible, toxic or corrosive liquid medium with design temperature equal to or greater than the normal boiling point and nominal diameter greater than 25mm.
3.2
Piping components
Closed piping system components for connecting or assembling bearing pressure.
3.3
Pipe-supporting elements
Components for transmitting the piping load to pipe support structure.
3.4
Inspection certificate
The inspection document indicated with inspection results, where the deliveries are inspected and tested by an independent authorized department (other than the production department of the manufacturer) or individual according to the provisions of this code and the contract.
