1 Scope
This standard specifies the definition, grade, order contents, dimensions, shapes, weights and permissible deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking and certifications of ribbed bars for the reinforced concrete tanks of LNG.
It is applicable to cryogenic ribbed bars with a diameter of not more than 50mm for manufacturing reinforced concrete tanks of LNG (hereinafter referred to as ribbed bars).

3 Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
cryogenic ribbed bars for the reinforced concrete tanks of LNG
ribbed bars formed by controlled rolling and controlled cooling process and suitable for the minimum design temperature (-165℃~-170℃) requirements of reinforced concrete tanks of LNG

5 Order contents

6 Dimension, shape, weight and permissible tolerance
6.1 The dimensions, shapes, weights and permissible deviations of the ribbed bars shall meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 1499.2.
6.2 As required by the purchaser and indicated in the contract upon the agreement between the supplier and the purchaser, the purchaser can specify the dimension deviation of ribbed bars separately.
7 Technical requirements
7.1 Smelting method, chemical composition (smelting analysis) and carbon equivalent
7.1.1 Steel is smelted by converter or electric furnace, and is refined outside the furnace.
7.1.2 The chemical composition of the ribbed bars (melting analysis) and carbon equivalent shall meet those specified in Table 2.
