This standard specifies the list of hazards, safety requirements and/or safety measures and judgment and information for use of underground load-haul-dump (hereinafter referred to as underground LHD).

This standard is the limit proposed for underground LHD from physical performance and intended use. The safety requirements specified in this standard are applicable to hazards generated in each stage with the machine life specified in GB/T 15706.1.

Hazards not involved in this standard are consistent with GB/T 15706.1 and GB/T 15706.2. Hazards of general machinery, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other equipment are excluded from this standard.

This standard is applicable to diesel underground LHD, electric underground LHD and remote control LHD used in metal/nonmetal underground mines, underground projects, and tunnels.
