1 Scope
This standard describes a method for determining the resistance of coatings to neutral salt spray (fog).
The method specified in this standard can be used to detect the mass of paints or coatings.

A coated test panel is exposed to neutral salt spray (fog) and the effects of exposure are evaluated by principles or criteria agreed in advance between the interested parties.
