This document is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization — Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 29317-2012 Terminology of electric vehicle charging/battery swap infrastructure. In addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made compared with GB/T 29317-2012:
a) The scope of application has been changed, not limited to conductive charge mode (see Clause 1);
b) The definition of "charging/battery swap infrastructure" has been changed, and the definitions of terms such as "charging infrastructure", "dispersal charging infrastructure", "battery swap infrastructure" and "charging and battery swap service network" is added. The definition of "charging equipment" is changed, and the definitions of "discharging equipment" and "charging and discharging equipment" are added. The definitions of "charging station" and "battery swap station” are changed (see Clause 3; 4.1, 5.1 and 5.2 in 2012 Edition);
c) The name of Clause 4 is changed to "Charging / battery swap mode", the definitions of "vehicle charge mode” is deleted, and "conductive charge", "charging mode", "wireless power transfer" and related term definitions are supplemented (see Clause 4; 3.1 in 2012 Edition);
d) The name of Clause 5 is changed to "Conductive charging equipment” is changed, the definition of "off-board charger", is changed and "integral charger", "split type charger", "AC & DC integrated charger", "mobile charging equipment", "in-cable control and protection device; IC-CPD" and related term definitions are added, and "automated connection coupler" and the related terms and definitions are added (see Clause 5; 4.2 in 2012 Edition);
e) "Wireless power transfer equipment" and the terms and definitions related to wireless power transfer equipment are added (see Clause 6);
f) Clause 7 is changed to "Charging station" and Clause 8 is changed to "Battery swap station". The terms and definitions such as "SBS lock mechanism" and "SBS charger" are added (see Clauses 7 and 8; Clauses 5 and 6 in 2012 Edition);
g) "Operation and management system" is modified to "Charging and battery swap service network" and the relevant terms and definitions are supplemented (see Clause 9; Clause 7 of 2012 Edition);
h) “Coordinated charging (discharging)” and its related terms and definitions are added (see Clause 10).
