This standard supersedes "Food Additive - Calcium Carbonate" (1898-2007).
Compared with GB 1898-2007, the main changes in this standard are as follows:
- The standard name is revised as "National Food Safety Standard - Food Additive - Calcium Carbonate (Light, Heavy)";
- The application scope of the standard is modified;
- Typing and classification are deleted, and corresponding index values are modified;
- Examination methods for magnesium, alkali metal, arsenic, fluorine, lead, mercury and cadmium are modified.
