1 Scope
This Standard specifies the safety identification colours, and the test and application methods of safety colours.
This Standard is applicable to the colours to be used for safety signs and marks in public areas, workplaces, traffic, construction, storage industries and fire protection and all safety-related sectors.
This Standard is not applicable to the signalling used for maritime, river those sectors subject to a regulation which may differ.
